Veterinary Practice Manager (PT - 30 hours per week)
A rare and exciting opportunity has become available at for a motivated, dynamic individual to take the new position of Practice Manager at Origin Vets Clinic in Cardiff.
Origin Vets Clinic is an award winning, proudly Independent Veterinary Practice caring
for
Cats, Rabbits and Exotic Pets.
The Practice Manager will work closely alongside the Practice Owner to ensure the business continues to develop and enhance both client experience and team performance.
The role is wide and varied and will involve all areas of Practice Management including, but not exclusively:- Office Administration, HR, Payroll, Health and Safety, IT, Maintenance and Marketing including website upkeep alongside other communication channels, and support with financial budgets. In conjunction with Practice Owner, the Practice Manager will strive to maximise financial performance and support the veterinary surgeon, nursing and reception teams to ensure excellent standards and high client satisfaction. The successful individual will be a people person who excels at motivating teams and attention to detail.
Overall, you will have a good experience of veterinary industry, excellent customer service and communication skills, be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with excellent planning and organisational skills.
This is a part-time role (30 hours/week). Previous management experience and knowledge of the Veterinary Industry is desired but not essential.
Salary dependent on experience.

Origin Vets Clinic is an Independent practice with cat, rabbit and exotic caseload.
Origin vet’s clinic is located just east of Cardiff City Centre with excellent links to the M4 and with good public transport access.
The clinic itself is purpose built and designed with careful consideration for keeping prey/predator species separate. We have a green heart and strive to be mindful of our environmental impact.
Our small team is made up of dedicated staff, with additional qualifications/advanced practitioner status in exotics, anaesthesia and emergency and critical care. We are a supportive and progressive team and actively encourage career development.
