Vet Students and Vet Nurse Students

We welcome both Veterinary Students and Veterinary Nursing Students. If you would like to take a walk on the wild side and experience working with scaly, furry and feathered pets then please contact us with a covering letter stating what university or college you attend, which year you are in and when you would preferable like to attend.

High School and College Students are welcome to apply to, however priority is given to Veterinary placement students due to the small number of exotic placements available in the UK.

Please note we only allow a minimum of 2 weeks experience. This is to ensure that you gain a wide experience in our clinic and to allow you to develop your skills.

PLEASE NOTE  - We are currently fully booked between March 28th to September 28th 2023 and also between December 4th 2023 to January 12th 2024 and 7th July to 10th September 2024.

ACCOMODATION

Unfortunately we cannot offer accommodation for students visiting the clinic.

We would also like to make any students aware that if you are booking accommodation online, to use a reputable booking agent, we have unfortunately had a few students who have been financially scammed by third parties whilst booking accommodation (particularly for longer stays).

There are a couple of local hotels, which offer basic accommodation, but please read the small print prior to booking as some have limited facilities.

We do have facilities in the clinic for communal use including a small freezer, fridge, airfryer, microwave and kettle.
